Carbonell is the leading Spanish brand of extra virgin olive oil in terms of value. Since 1866, it has been offering people excellent quality oil because it takes care of the olive tree as it did in its origins. Its tradition and international vocation have led it to be present in more than XX countries in America and Europe.

The Challenge

To create the brand and packaging redesign for the Carbonell oil portfolio, strengthening the brand’s positioning and improving the understanding of its product portfolio. By placing the consumer at the center, we aim to address the main drivers of the category: origin, quality, taste, convenience, and sustainability.

Taking into account the unique characteristics of each country, the new brand and packaging design aims to evolve Carbonell’s assets to create a visual system that aligns with a global strategy. The new portfolio makes it easier to navigate through the different varieties and elevates the brand’s perception while maintaining its essence.

The Result

The new portfolio design places the consumer at the center, creating a more intuitive shopping and usage experience focused on their needs. The new packaging architecture reinforces brand recognition and helps differentiate the varieties by highlighting their main features – intensity, processes, and sustainability.
