Dynamic, flexible omnichannel design.

Design flows between channels and disciplines. Online and offline shall never more be seen separately, all elements of a brand have to act in harmony. So, the designer must increasingly be a strategist, while the strategist must be ever more creative. The two should design brands and products which never ever remain static. The design professional must investigate, analyse and think strategically to conceive and convey the concept of a single form of graphic expression.

Design must be strategic and creative.

The designer of brands and packaging has become a key player in any corporate strategy. His/her abilities, knowledge, knowhow and technique should permit her/him to consolidate a strategic role as part of a multi-disciplinary team. She/he is responsible for creating and designing unique experiences to draw together corporations and people. They must be able to master user-centric investigation and design and conceive a design built around the DNA of the brand, which can then be translated into a solid visual system in which each and every single detail counts. They must be able to use and combine all graphic elements – typography, lettering, colour images, movement, UI and UX– to create a unique, differential design.

From visual design to a 360-degree brand experience.

The designer of the future has to serve dynamic, omnichannel and social brands by telling a great story. She or he must be outstanding in his/her analytical, strategic, technical and creative skills. Batllegroup currently coordinates the new Master’s Course in Omnichannel Branding Strategy and Design as well as, together with Stimulo Studio and Inèdit, running the new Master’s Course in Packaging Design. The two courses are given at BAU, Barcelona University Design Centre, and seek to train professionals, to enable them to resolve with solvency and exactitude the new challenges presented by today’s branding and packaging.
